TAIPEI, Taiwan - Taiwanese memory manufacturer Inotera Memories on December 12 was formally merged into Micron Technology, Inc. becoming a 100% subsidiary company. After this acquisition, Micron has become the largest foreign investor in Taiwan and the foreign company with the largest number of employees as they begin to establish the first 3D DRAM packaging and testing plant in Taiwan.
