NUC (Next Unit of Computing) is a small form factor PC designed by Intel, motherboard measures 4 × 4 inches. Its first generation is based on the Sandy Bridge Celeron CPU, lastest generation is based on the Haswell architecture.

Asus’s Chromebox use NUC design , will apopt Intel Core i3-4010U or Celeron 2955U processor. The first wave will be listed in the North American market , the future will also be launched in other regions using the standard version of the Core i7 processor. Currently unsure whether to be launched in the Taiwan.

Memory has two standards of 2GB or 4GB , and will provide 1TB HDD or 16GB SSD storage options. Besides, Google will also provide 100GB Google Drive storage service for two years.

As for I/O device, provide a single set of Gigabit Ethernet connection , 802.11 b / g / n wireless network, Bluetooth 4.0, 4 group USB 3.0 and SD card reader, while also providing DisplayPort and HDMI output port.
