Ricky Hsu founded the company in 2008 after his grand-mother suffered from a fall and stayed lying down on the floor for hours before anyone could find out. He realized the need for a smart and easy device to connect seniors with their loved-ones or appropriate emergency services when needed.

“This is a new business model, where home is in the center of the service that realizes the concept of on-demand service. The ecosystem is being created to fulfill all sorts of need from wearers.” Hsu said.

“AngelCare is a platform combines elderly care with medical services, wireless conveniences, call center, and environmental safety features into on single product. Our goal is not to sell the product, but to lend out to wearers.” Hsu added.

From the basic module GD-300 to the newest flagship AngelCare900, which are available for lending at NT$99 to NT$299 per month.
