Acer Takes No. 1 Position in Brazil Consumer Notebook Market

TAIPEI, Taiwan-Acer has taken the No. 1 spot for consumer portable PC shipments in Brazil during Q314. With 16.2% market share, Acer demonstrated 18.6% growth over the last quarter, according to data by IDC.

Brazil is the world’s fourth largest PC market, and Acer currently sells notebooks and tablets in the country’s consumer market through retail, Internet and wholesale distribution.
