MIC said ,the continued investment of China government in the local technology industry, will bring greater pressure on Taiwanese companies. In addition to the panel industry, Chinese semiconductor industry is also growing rapidly, competition from Chinawill continue to increase in 2015.

For the development of Taiwan Semiconductor, MIC said that Taiwan foundry process technology will enter the FinFET era in 2015, semiconductor structure is going to transform to three-dimensional from original one-dimensional design, the TSMC’s 16nm and Samsung’s 14nm will mass production next year.

As for the competition between TSMC and Samsung, MIC believes that Taiwan's TSMC is expected to get most orders for Apple A9 processor.
