During Touch Taiwan 2015, held on August 26-28, Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall, a variety of E-paper related products was presented at E ink booth, an electronic paper and TFT LCD manufacture. Apart from an array of eReader, remains the primary revenue driver for E ink, many products using EPD were demonstrated in this exhibition, showing another possibility of this technology.

Not to mention about smart display card such as credit card with high degree of security or ID card, taking less than 3 minutes to create an ID card with photo, now the EPD is going to adopt in the architecture.

The E ink Prism, a film with color changing automatically, is a dynamic architectural material, providing a customized design to decorate and enrich a space, making a replacement of traditional wallpaper. According to E ink, Prism is the next step in E Ink’s diversification initiative.

Consequently, the concept of EPD still could use in some ways rather than other display could, like price tag, ID card and credit card. Moreover, under the intense competition of display market, E ink continuously tries hard to make difference and innovation to succeed.
