It could be a debating issue about whether to invest in the SPIL, and even how to analyze the financial result is a easy way to solve this kind of uncomplicated business strategy. Surprisingly, Terry Guo made his decision as soon as possible without prior calculation of the commercial interest from this strategic alliance.

He answered“ We have known each other for nearly 30 years”, while asking by a journalist for the reason to sign the agreement with SPIL. And that should be the sincere and honest answer from Terry Guo.

Undoubtedly, it is the typical Taiwan's business behavior-friendship is more treasurable than price and definitely makes all efforts to help for the request by so-called brother.

Under the spirit of righteousness, the cooperation between Foxconn and SPIL is not strange anymore, even if Foxconn has already owned a semiconductor assembly company.

You can see how they trust each other from their interaction in the press conference, there is no commercial interests in their relationship. All they have to convince is the shareholders of SPIL, by specific business information and data.
