TAIPEI, Taiwan - According to Taiwan's Economic Daily News, the Hon Hai group is recruiting staff in advance in Zhengzhou, China in preparation for the final mass production of Apple's next generation of smartphones.

In the past Hon Hai rarely recruited new personnel during the the low season; however, this time they are supplementing their staff a month in advance and recruiting approximately ten thousand new employees.
Some analysts believe that Hon Hai's expansion of its workforce in advance during the low season is an import indicator of the new Apple iPhones' time-to-market.
