Taiwan’s Tech Companies to Unveil Transformative AIoT Products at CES 2019

The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), Taiwan’s foremost trade promotion organization, announced today that it will provide a first look at breakthroughs from some of Taiwan’s most innovative companies poised to lead the current AIoT trend. At the January 7th press conference at CES 2019, AI and facial recognition pioneer CyberLink, startup ELECLEAN, flat panel displays firm Innolux, and advanced unmanned autonomous vehicle (UAV) technology systems developer ThunderTiger will showcase products that have the potential to dramatically improve people’s work and everyday lives – not just in Taiwan, but globally.

These breakthrough products – which include a highly precise AI facial recognition system, a futuristic underwater drone, a smart digital shelf display, and a portable sterilizer device that turns water into disinfectant – are breakthroughs soon to be unveiled in the backdrop of a host of innovations launched in Taiwan this year.

TAITRA said, Taiwan welcomed the launch of Amazon’s latest innovation center in August, and pulsates with an invigorating atmosphere for product designers and manufacturers. Taiwan’s many cutting-edge AIoT innovations, exemplified by four presenting companies – also winners of the prestigious Taiwan Excellence award – will be unveiled at “The Future is Smart: Taiwan Innovations for 2019 & Beyond” CES press conference.
