In addition, Advantech has invited strategic partners Steen Graham, General Manager of IoT Ecosystem, Intel; Dr Jau Huang, Chairman of CyberLink; and Kunal Agarwal, General Manager of IoT, Symantec, to share their insights and perspectives on AI, edge computing, wireless networks, information security, and also their perspectives on co-creation and building technology ecosystems. There are over 450 customers and partners from 50 countries participating in the Advantech Embedded IoT World Partner Conference, co-creating future IoT business development together.
Since 2010, Advantech has been actively committed to promoting the development of Industrial IoT (IIoT) in three phases: embedded system platforms; software and hardware integrated with WISE-PaaS and Industrial App (I.App) IoT cloud platforms; and applications and solutions co-created with domain-focused partners. According to Miller Chang, President of Embedded IoT Group (EIoT), Advantech, “AI and IoT will become the driving force for industrial growth into the future.
Therefore, as the cornerstone for phases two and three in the development of AIoT, embedded platforms must be able to utilize solutions that incorporate both AI and IoT to meet market demands. Going forward, our solutions will evolve in four major directions: Embedded Core Design-in Services; Edge AI, Intelligence & Wireless Connectivity; Design & Manufacturing Services; Cloud, Network Security & Video AI.”
The conference not only shared Advantech’s development strategy and policy on EIoT system platforms but also showcased the complete EIoT ecosystem that the theme covered such as embedded platform and design-in services, Arm-based computing solutions, wireless connectivity solutions, domain-focused solutions, Edge AI solutions, Cloud IoT solutions, and design and manufacturing services.
At the same time, there were demonstrations of WISE-PaaS/DeviceOn, a software that fully manages IoT devices and equipment in various real-case scenarios. Additionally, Advantech also invited Microsoft, McAfee, Chunghwa Telecom, HwaCom Systems, Tong Cheng, Parktron Technology, Yujin Robot, KOLON BENIT, iProd, and TED, totaling 11 partners from both domestically and abroad who participated in the exhibition.
