At the discussion meeting a few days ago, five successful telecom tenders initiated 18 issues hoping NCC to solve it and start the business, such as lifting the limitation on charges, releasing the complicated base station import procedure and approving the usage of Chinese product.

Nonetheless, Transportation Committee set up many conditional limit on 4G equipment procurement and insisted on that every business plan should send to the Committee for reference. Moreover, the Committee inquired NCC today about scrutiny plan for 4G enterprises.

Telecom-company expressed that business plan needs to send reference to Legislature Yuan additionally after being examined by NCC and reporting to National Security Agency, which could delay the start-up of Taiwan 4G service due to political obstacle, meanwhile China Mobile, china-based Telecom- company, decided to unveil 4G service program as soon as acquired the 4G license in China.

For the sake of starting business, the companies stressed in the discussion meeting that they will operate in accordance with laws but look for simplifying procedure and regulation on equipment import, which can’t be finished in the short time, to speed up establishment.
