Market Intelligence & Consulting Institute (MIC) predicted that the PC market will be decreased by 1.7% this year as compared to last year, strongly influenced by the increasing of tablet. Gigabye and MSI are taking crisis as a chance.

Gigabye made their gaming notebook mostly in Taiwan that used to mainly relied on Tawanese components firms, namely, Pegatron and Quanta, now turned to ECS and Clevo.

On the other hand, MSI likewise enhanced its PC product line by releasing an ultra compact, low-power consumption, and lighter mini-PC Wind Box series. These features all function by specific IC, respectively.
