TSMC, Quanta, and AUO Announce Revenue for January

TAIPEI, TAIWAN — TSMC, Quanta, and AU Optronics Announce its Revenue for January, respectively. TSMC today announced its net revenues for January 2014: On a consolidated basis, revenues for January 2014 were approximately NT$51.43 billion, while Quanta posted consolidated revenues of NT$72.04 billion, and AUO announced its unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$31,604 million for last month.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) announced its net revenues for January 2014: On a consolidated basis, revenues for January 2014 were approximately NT$51.43 billion, an increase of 3.5 percent from December 2013 and an increase of 8.4 percent over January 2013.

AU Optronics Co. announced its unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$31,604 million for January 2014, down by 5.3% month-over-month and up by 10.5% year-over-year.

According to AUO that shipments of large-sized panels for LCD TV, desktop monitor, notebook PC, and other applications totaled 9.78 million units in January 2014, down by 5.4% month-over-month. As for small-and-medium-sized panels, the shipments decreased by 5.5% month-over-month to around 12.09 million units.

Quanta Computer Inc.posted January 2014 consolidated revenues of NT$72.04 billion in conformity with the IFRSs.
