Terry Gou: Hon Hai Pay Three Times Salary for Google Recruits

TAIPEI, Taiwan - Hon Hai chairman Terry Gou Wednesday told the media that Hon Hai would hire anyone who had an admission notice from Google for two or three times wages than Google. Also announced that will increase salary of US$100 to the employees with annual salary less than US$ 40,000, since April 1 this year.

Terry Gou was discontent with too much media coverage for Google Taiwan Recruiting news, thought that media should focus more on Taiwan enterprises.
Gou said, no matter how much wages Google paid, as long as getting the admission notice from Google, Hon Hai are willing to pay two or three times salary to hire.
"You can think about 5 or 10 years later, who can make you have a long-term development in Taiwan, and stand on the world stage." Gou said.
Gou pointed out that Hon Hai Group going to recruit numerous high-level and mid-level engineers to devote software R&D, and focus on automation and robotics production. In addition, Hon Hai will increase salary of US$100 to the employees with annual salary less than US$ 40,000, since April 1 this year.
