In-Light can tune the LED lighting device via ZigBee or Power Line Communications (PLC) technology, achieved intelligence management and energy optimization. It provides both control and monitoring management platform, can simultaneously control a single or thousands of light fixtures , saving the energy consumption of street lights and reduce the environmental pollution caused by carbon emissions.

In-Light also can save costs effectively. By using ZigBee and PLC transmission, adopters can save the cost of construction, reconfiguration of network cable, number of lighting controllers, to avoid poor line quality caused by poor communication condition.

Using this technology, In-Light can immediately obtain information on the status of streetlights and automatically determine whether lamps occur light fades, flashes , heat and other unusual problems , if abnormal , the system will automatically connect and inform the managers fault location and type of street lights, speed up repair time. In addition, it can be combined with wireless sensors to monitor environmental changes and activities of human and cars, immediately adjust the luminous efficiency of lighting equipment to comply with the prevailing lighting needs.

Wang Jian-min , director of the SNSI , said Taiwanese government and III have been completed many intelligent lighting systems of parking and street light application, can help authorities to monitor the condition of LED lighting equipment at all times, and unified management through the cloud platform, thereby reducing maintenance manpower expenses.

Currently intelligent lighting system has been used in many lighting situations in Taiwan, including the public parking garage, industrial parks and other outdoor street lighting.
