COMPUTEX 2014 to Embrace Trends of Smart Life with Convergence

TAIPEI, Taiwan — Along with the rapid growth of cloud services and 4G LTE technologies, Smart Life has become the major trend of global consumer market. Taipei Computer Association (TCA), the co-organizer of COMPUTEX TAIPEI positioned as the worldwide 2nd largest and Asia's largest ICT exhibition, indicated COMPUTEX 2014 will present varied ICT devices in our daily life.

COMPUTEX 2014 will be held at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1, Hall 3, Nangang Exhibition Hall and Taipei, International Convention Center (TICC) on June 3rd to 7th, 2014. According to the statistics, COMPUTEX 2014 will draw 1,700 exhibitors using 5,000 booths and attract approximately 40,000 international buyers to visit the show.
TCA noted that the leading enterprises including MediaTek, Intel, AsusTek, Acer, Microsoft, Gigabyte, AMD, ADATA, MSI, Delta Electronics, Transcend, GeIL, In Win, Team Group, V-Color, Genius, ECS, Broadcom, Apacer, PNY Technologies, XYZ Printing, ASRock, Clevo, Edimax, Realtek, Chicony, Digital-can, Brickcom, Muzee and GeoVision are going to showcase this year.
Also several exhibitors have announced to reveal converged new products during the show enabling COMPUTEX TAIPEI to become the ICT product procurement platform of Smart Life.
Google has announced her Android Wear system on March 18th designed for smart watch or wearables, and integrated Google Now functionality into Android smartphones. Several partners have developed Android Wear smart watch or smart devices. Exhibitors including AsusTek, Broadcom, Intel and MediaTek will introduce Android Wear smart watch and customized design during COMPUTEX 2014
Expectedly more enterprises will enter wearable sector after the official debut of Android Wear. Echoing the industry trends, a newly added SmarTech Area will be showcased in Hall 3.
Exhibitors will present physiological monitoring wearables including watch, wristband, glass, clothing, heart rate transmitter and blood pressure monitor. The customized App is also available for clients in order to increase product competence.
