In an e-mail to the Central News Agency, HTC said that it does not comment on “rumors or speculations.” And denied Ben Ho is leaving the company or changing his position.
Rumor has it that HTC One M8 mini will incorporate the same uni-body aluminum design as the M8 but its screen will be reduced to 4.5 inches, based on a British tech news site 3G.co.uk reported Monday, yet citing sources inside a U.K. Retailer.
However, the predecessor HTC One has a 4.7 inches screen, while its compact version, One mini has a 4.4 inches display. The successor HTC One M8 equipped with 5 inches screen, and the rumored M8 mini will incorporate a 4.5 inches display.
Another rumors from Twitter revealed that the M8 mini will feature a 4.5 inches display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core 1.7GHz processor, 16GB internal memory and a 13-megapixel rear camera.
If the rumors were true, there also will be a M8 Max coming up for bigger and better display and resolution or even some new features as that of its predecessor One Max has one feature unavailable on the smaller models: a fingerprint identification sensor.
