Asus Revises Up Annual Mobile Phone shipments to Ten Million

TAIPEI, Taiwan-Asus’s ZenFone, a low price smartphone with high specs, is hot sale after listing on the market, impel ASUS raised its annual mobile phone shipments, increased from 5 million units to 10 million units, seven times higher compared with 1.5 million units last year.

Asus ZenFone first sale in Taiwan, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand, all are given a good reputation after selling. The second wave of sales will be in India, Russia and Brazil.
Asus CEO Jerry Shen said that Asus is going to pursuit the growth rate of mobile phone shipments of 100% in next two year, and the global market share of more than 2%.
Asus estimates that mobile phone shipments this quarter will be 1.5 million units, have a substantial growth compared with the first quarter of 0.2 million units.
