Through this proactive “electricity self-management” action which is taken by the service industry, the government hopes to lower the overall electric bill this summer. Billion takes the initiative in donating smart energy gateways in response to the “Go Green” mission raised by the government.
“As the network deployment is getting broader, Billion aims at the business opportunity of IoT (Internet of Things), developing the smart energy gateway which serves as the bridge between the sensors/controls and cloud. Billion's smart energy gateway owns instant energy monitoring and management function, offering the comprehensive communication interfaces and well-integrated platform for system integrators to build various energy applications.” said Ben Chen, Director of Billion Electric Co.
“We constantly deploy this intelligent system in the overseas marketplaces, including solar system management in Australia and Japan, EV charger management in USA, community energy management in South Africa, green house management in China, smart home application in Chile, and household electrics energy management in Taiwan respectively. We can expect that the green and energy saving related products will be the next focus and create new businesses in the smart grid industry.”
