Acer's Chairman Stan Shih once remarked “Making the cloud come to every hand of customer.” Acer turned its COMPUTEX TAIPEI stage into the perfect demonstration of BYOC, in order to attract more visitors to experience it at first hand, visitors who go to Acer's booth and check it on Facebook can get a free BYOC cotton candy.

Cotton candy is made of colorful sugars, which can be viewed as an extension of BYOC that offers colorful and interesting service. Acer will soon open its ab Store to allow users to download all the Apps for free.

Free cotton candy and free Apps are ways to attract more BYOC users, and to make sure that Acer would stop losing money.
