FENC's New Fabric Used in Ten FIFA World Cup Jerseys

TAIPEI, Taiwan- According to Taiwan media reports, the Far Eastern New Century Corporation's (FENC) new fabric has been used in Ten national team jerseys in the FIFA World Cup 2014, this material has wicking, lightweight and breathable capabilities, perfect to meet the needs of the athletes in the match.

Since FENC is a supplier of NIKE, and NIKE used this new functional fabrics in the World Cup 2014 jerseys in which they are one of sponsors, provided to Ten teams, including Brazil and the United States.

Xi Jia-Yi, FENC Vice-Chairman, pointed out that, FENC using environment-friendly polyester yarn as raw material to produce new functional fabric, which has great features of moisture, perspiration, light and breathable, combined with innovative printing totem to create a special kind of knitted fabric.

And this fabric has been made into FIFA World Cup 2014 jerseys, included Australia, Brazil, Croatia, England, France, South Korea, Greece, Portugal, Netherlands, and United States.

In addition to the use of new fabrics in the World Cup, FENC said it will accelerate the development of new fabric technology, including the Multi Fiber, highly elastic fabric with high value-added products such as women's sportswear.
