Hon Hai on Thursday announced a total combined sales of 3.16.993 billion dollars for the month of June, which at a monthly increase of 18.3% was higher than predicted. Analysts have pointed out that Hon Hai’s big increase in sales for the month of June reflects that the Apple is already preparing to ship out iPhone 6 orders.

Analysts have also stated that the large increase of total sales for Hon Hai during the month of June reflects increases in the stocking schedule for many types of new cell phone products. In addition to the iPhone 6, new types of cellphones, including Mainland China’s Xiaomi, Huawei, and Amazon, have also prepared to list their products on the market.

Hon Hai announced that during June shipments for three major product lines: consumer electronics, computers and communications, had significant growth. Among them, compared to June, the amount of shipments for computer electronics was significantly highest, followed by computer products.

Hon Hai is not only continuing to be a leading manufacturer of smartphones. Recently it is also actively developing new projects in Guizhou – in China’s newly established “Fourth Generation Eco-Industrial Park.” In the future, this industrial park will have twelve factory buildings. Currently, it has just completed phase one of its construction and there are plans to recruit 50,000 employees. It will mainly be used for big data, data centers, and for the research and development and manufacturing of environmentally friendly products.

In addition, Hon Hai yesterday signed five agreements in Guizhou with the Guizhou government, Mainland China’s Tsinghua University, and Peking University for the joint research and development of big data and carbon nanotechnology. Guo Tai-ming stated that the commercialization of these innovative solutions will allow for people all over the world to collectively share and benefit from the advantages brought about by these new technologies, and they will also guide humanity to move towards an “environmentally conscious, energy saving, ecofriendly, civilized, and technological” vision of the future.
