ASUS has announced the Asus Smart Home System, comprising a range of shiny blue-black and chrome devices with a curved edge design. These include a gateway, smart plugs, an IP camera, smoke and CO sensors, thermostat, power switch and more.
Furthermore, ASUS IoT platform and its gateway use standards such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee and more. Users connect remote to master for all connected objects through the ASUS Home app.
According to an earlier report, Jonathan Tsang, Vice Chairman of ASUS said that the company value the cloud computing and end device at the same time. Concerning the end device, besides robot, ASUS is going to launch smart lock and CO2 detector. What’s more, ASUS will roll out the cloud camera AiCam.
Relatively, Acer teamed up with OmniVision in manufacturing IP CAM, the company also collaborated EBM Technologies in providing IP Storage n a bid to run home monitoring and healthcare services.
