During the visit, Mr. Howard Lin, CEO of AAEON, led an in-depth and fruitful discussion with the Mayor and his entourage on the development of the smart city concept. At the same time, the Mayor was given an introduction on AAEON’s IoT solutions and the UP project, AAEON’s two primary contributions to building anything IoT.

Along with the airport of Amsterdam and seaport of Rotterdam, Eindhoven’s knowledge-based economy has led her to be known the “brainport” of The Netherlands, as the city continues to attract the top minds and high tech companies to set up operations there.
