HTC to Showcase Its Complete VR Eco-system in TGS 2016

HTC and MSI jointly launched the Japanese limited VR package included a HTC Vive and MSI’s latest gaming notebook.

TAIPEI, Taiwan – HTC announced today that the company will showcase its HTC Vive, a virtual reality HMD product, at TOKYO GAME SHOW(TGS) 2016 in Japan for the first time. And HTC will collaborate with famous game companies to deliver best immersive gaming experience in its booth.

SQUARE ENIX, the most famous game company, will debut the very first VR version of Kai-ri-Sei Million Arthur for HTC Vive helping HTC to expand the VR game market; and the Japanese telcom operator KDDI will also display multiplayer VR Games including Linked-door loves Space Channel 5.

Regarding compatible hardware, including AMD、Intel、MicroStar International (MSI) and NVIDIA will also demonstrate their latest products with HTC Vive for VR gaming.

HTC North Asia general manager Dong Junliang said, “We are very excited to team with the world's top virtual reality partners in the 2016 Tokyo Game Show. And we will once again provide the high immersive virtual reality experience to customers via the world's most complete virtual reality system: HTC Vive.”

He also noted that HTC and MSI jointly launched the Japanese limited VR package, which included a HTC Vive and MSI’s latest gaming notebook; and the retail channels of HTC Vive in Japan has expanded to Tokyo, Osaka, Aichi, Hiroshima, Ehime County, and Kitakyushu."
