The device supports 4 touch keys and has an operating voltage of 1.8V~5.5V which can meet the requirements of a large range of electronic products with different operating voltages. The device contains a 2K×16 Flash Program Memory, 128×8 Data Memory, 32×8 True EEPROM and an I2C interface. It is supplied in 8-pin SOP, 10-pin MSOP and 10-pin DFN (3×3×0.75mm) package types which can meet a range of different customer packaging requirements.

Holtek also fully supports the device with a comprehensive suite of hardware and software development tools. The supporting software includes a touch key function library which enables designers to develop their products more rapidly by eliminating the need to write code for the touch key functions. The hardware development tool is known as the e-Link which works together with an OCDS evaluation MCU to provide users with an actual MCU device with which emulation and debug can be implemented, thus reducing significantly the development to market time.
