Canatu announced that it is partnering with Display Solution to collaborate on innovative and disruptive touchscreen technology.
The partners will use Canatu's CNB (Carbon NanoBud) Film technology and Display Solution's controller equipment to develop touch display solutions which provide excellent sunlight readability.
Touch displays with new design possibilities in flexible or 3D forms will also be offered. The joint touch display solutions are mainly targeted towards automation, medical, digital signage or point of sale (POS) markets for the touch applications with 4,3" up to 15" displays.
Canatu's next generation touch technology, together with Display Solution's innovative display products, enables new kinds of designs, combining a display with a matrix-touch sensor and other inputs like mechanical buttons, sliders and wheels in one homogeneous touch surface. These types of touch applications fit well in any kind of operational terminals that require robustness, durability, excellent sunlight readability and endurance in different environmental conditions.

Display Solution's manufacturing facilities are located in Germany. The company has several major customers in Europe, Asia, the USA and the United Arab Emirates. CNB touch sensors are manufactured and delivered from Canatu's own factory in Helsinki, Finland.
