TAIPEI, Taiwan - PlayNitride, A Taiwanese Micro LED startup, is listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange on 18th August becoming the first company to be listed in the : Taiwan Innovation Board y of the Taiwan Stock Exchange. Charles Li, CEO and chairman of PlayNitride, said that he wishes the listing of PlayNitride can be an example to encourage Taiwan’s startups to stay in Taiwan.
As a Micro LED technology provider, PlayNitride was founded in 2014, the first company to be listed on Taiwan Innovation Board, and the world’s first company that has the capability of Micro LED mass production. Therefore, PlayNitride was invited by Taiwan Stock Exchange to list in Taiwan Innovation Board and became the first company in this catabory.
Charles Li said PlayNitride is a fast-growing company whose revenue were doubled each year. Accumulated to July this year, PlayNitride 's overall revenue has reached 220 million Taiwan dollars, which has more than doubled compared to last year's annual revenue of 76 million Taiwan dollars. And he is also confident that profits can be realized in the first half of next year.
