TAIPEI, Taiwan — Instead of being named iPhone 6S, Apple Inc’s new handset is probably going to be named New iPhone that is said to be released on September 25. Moreover, It is widely circulated that the new model can be pre-ordered on September 18.
According to an earlier report, England’s telecommunications provider Vodafone leaked that Apple is going to debut New iPhone on September 25, the new model can be pre-ordered on September 18, and the press release will be on September 8.
As to the specs, New iPhone will have a 3D pressure sensor built in to enable a new Force Touch action. Now, sources said that the New iPhone will add the new feature and optimize it for the iPhone. ForceTouch is said to come along with iOS 9 on the iPhone 6S, and it will be open to developers for use in their apps.
Meanwhile, Force Touch will reportedly offer more functions for power users, including a new way to control space across the system, and eliminate the need for long press interactions like rearranging app icons across home screens.
Force Touch is the new Apple Watch feature that distinguishes between short taps and long, harder presses.
