Actually, Acer, ASUS, MSI, and GIGABYTE Technology have been sponsors of gaming contests in Taiwan for years. They also hold their own gaming contests, for example, ASUS's WGT, MSI's MSIBeat IT, which is a good way to promote their own gaming devices.


When talking about the price, gaming devices are no doubt more expensive than the normal devices. Take MSI's GT70 into account, its price tag is NT$ 79,900 dollars that is more expensive than Apple's MacBook Pro. The average price of normal NB is around NT$30,000 dollars.


Gaming devices not only have different hardware and design, marketing is so unique and special. MSI has transferred its gaming devices' marketing strategy into C2C and B2C. They also don't hire celebrities to promote their gaming products but enjoy popularity by word of mouth.

Gaming devices makers also have their own strengh and core technology, therefore, BenQ has the dominent status in gaming monitors, special technology is introduced in their monitors.
