WPC and TAICS Form Agreement to Promote Qi Standard in Taiwan

With the aim to build a wireless charging ecosystem using the Qi standard, the agreement was formally signed during a ceremony that kicked off WPC’s seminar and tradeshow held today in Taipei. During the event that attracted more than 800 people, WPC members showcased new wireless charging innovations and emerging applications, along with demonstrations including Qi wireless-fast charging accessories that charge two percent per minute, as well as furniture and kitchen appliances with built-in Qi features.
