The exhibition breaks down the process of waste recycling step by step with the approach of story-telling and pictorial description. Visitors can have wonderful summer memories here regardless of their age. Perhaps you will be the next one to hold the “Green Gold”.

EPA established The Recycling Found 20 years ago. It combines community people, recycling industry, and local government cleaning squadron to cooperate in recycling mechanism. The organization pushes waste bottles, cans, electronic devices that were produced in our daily life to enter the back-end recycling factories through the multi-recycling channels where the recycled materials will be made and return to the raw material system to be reused.

With this complete and convenient recycling mechanism, the people of Taiwan can do recycle easily and habitually. The habit of Taiwanese people waiting in line for garbage trucks and recycling truck is one of the most surprised behaviors of foreigners. The Wall Street Journal also held Taiwan's resource recycling system in high esteem.

In the past 20 years, how did the Recycling Found increase Taiwan's recycling rate from 5.87% to 52.51% from 1989 to 2018? You can find the answer in the “2018 TAIWAN RECYCLING TOUR - Recycling Fund 20th Anniversary Exhibition”. The exhibition presents the past, nowadays and future of resource recycling in Taiwan in a story-telling manner.

It is hard to imagine that 37,000 tons of waste tablet PC can be refined into one kilogram of gold. In this special exhibition, there are many examples of waste recycling being turned into “green gold” which are worth a visit for global quests. Moreover, electronic tour guides were also set up in the pavilion to provide the knowledge on resource recycling. And there are AR interactive games for visits to seek the virtual treasure through virtual reality experience.

In the 2nd floor of exhibition area, combined with twenty two county and city environmental protection agencies of Taiwan, exhibiting creative artworks which were made of recycling materials; daily stage performances also provide prized-quiz; hand-made workshops allowing parents and children to do creation together and the finished product will become the most memorable memory of the family this summer.

The "Film Screening Room" on the 3rd floor plays the categorized resource-recycling videos produced by the Recycling Fund these years. The film also records the daily life of the Taiwanese people who have been engaged in environmental recycling in the past twenty years.
