Taiwan is 6th Largest Contributor to Global App Revenue

TAIPEI, Taiwan －According at an App Annie survey conducted in July, Taiwan is the 6th largest revenue contributor in the global market for iOS and Android Apps.

App Annie’s Greater China General Director, Dai Bin, stated that Taiwanese game Apps account for approximately 80% of App revenue. Taiwan’s thriving game market is attracting active investment from major global companies, and this is driving circulation and development. Furthermore, this is the main reason that the Taiwanese App market’s sales ranking is continuing to grow globally.

Dai Bin further elaborated saying and that the global ranking order for the number Apps downloaded is as follows: The United States, Brazil, Mainland China, Russia, Mexico, Turkey, Indonesia, Japan, India, and South Korea. It also includes a number of developing countries.
When ranked according revenue contributions, the most mature countries are Japan, The United States, Mainland China, South Korea, England, Taiwan, Germany, Australia, Canada, and France.
