Holtek announces the release of its new Sub-1GHz RF OOK/FSK Transmitter Flash MCU, the BC66F2143. This new device, which can operate in the license-free ISM bands...

With the combined features of low power consumption and high efficiency, support for the 315MHz, 433MHz, 868MHz and 915MHz (Sub-1GHz) ISM Bands and in meeting ETSI standard requirements, the device will find excellent use in application areas such as wireless ceiling fans, wireless doorbells, RF switches and other smart home remote wireless applications extending into other related wireless control functions.

The device provides an RF maximum transmission power of 13dBm and includes a flash program memory of 1Kx14 bits and an SRAM data memory of 64 bytes. An internal 32 bytes true EEPROM is also provided to store data such as calibration data or product operating parameters.

This data can be stored during the product manufacturing process or during actual product operation thus enhancing production efficiency and product flexibility. The device has 9 multi-function I/O pins, allowing maximum utility for the available pins and two Timer Modules, features which combine to provide a flexible and dynamic adjustment method for the RF setup parameters.

The device has an operating voltage of 2.2V~3.6V and operating temperature of -40℃~85℃ which meets with full industrial specification requirements. Using a 16-pin NSOP-EP package type enables the device to be an excellent choice for low profile wireless product designs where space may be at a premium.
