QuickLogic's SenseMe algorithms are designed to deliver accuracy and optimal user experience. The SenseMe library includes an extensive and growing set of algorithms encompassing sensor fusion, pedometer, activity monitoring, context classification and natural user gestures.

SenseMe algorithms support data input from a wide range of sensor classes including inertial, magnetic, biological, proximity and light to determine the user's activity status and context. Recent additions to the broad QuickLogic algorithm library include swimming stroke count and further enhancing its world-class pedometer to accurately measure very slow step count independent of a user's height, stride and gender.

"The expansion of our product portfolio to include software licensing provides our customers an enhanced toolset and additional flexibility," said Dr. Frank A. Shemansky, Jr., senior director of product management at QuickLogic.

"Our diverse and growing algorithm library provides the most comprehensive solution available. We're pleased to make these algorithms broadly accessible and, given the high level of interest we've seen from potential customers, we anticipate adoption across a wide range of mobile device platforms."

SenseMe algorithms are fully compatible with the Android Operating System including KitKat 4.4, Lollipop 5.0, and Real Time Operating System (RTOS) -based systems. QuickLogic provides standard drivers to facilitate quick and seamless integration.

Features:

- Deliver optimal and consistent customer experience across smartphone, wearable and IoT platforms;

- Shorten system development time, and ensure portability across various platforms;

- Reduce the memory footprint for Bill-of-Material (BOM) savings;

- Minimize system power consumption when used with traditional embedded processor solutions as well as with QuickLogic's ultra-low power silicon platforms.
