The Intel Bay Trail industrial motherboard NANO840 is capable of operating under wide temperatures from -40°C to +80°C in fanless operation which is designed for working in harsh environments. It comes with multiple display outputs: HDMI, LVDS and VGA with visual experiences enhanced for dual-view supported.

Moreover, this small form factor embedded board requires +12V DC power input. The Axiomtek NANO840 is ideal for applications requiring a power-optimized and rich-I/O platform, such as high-end medical imaging, digital signage, kiosks/POI, thin clients, and gaming machines.

“Measuring only 120 mm x 120 mm, the Intel Atom SoC-based NANO840 is 50% smaller than the mini-ITX form factor but still offers plenty I/O interfaces. System developers can easily develop scalable and ultra-compact applications,” said Michelle Mi, product manager of the Product Marketing Division at Axiomtek.

“The fully integrated fanless nano-ITX motherboard also provides two PCI Express Mini Card expansion interfaces for network connection. One of the PCI Express Mini Card slots also supports mSATA interface to provide an additional storage option. Customers also can enjoy the advantage of good thermal design to running it in wide temperatures and fanless operation. It not only provides protection against dust or noise but also provides flexibility to design rugged systems.”

The super compact power-efficient embedded single board computer, NANO840, comes with advanced connectivity including five USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port, one RS-232/422/485, one RS-232, dual Gigabit LAN ports, SATA-300 port, two PCI Express Mini Card slots, and HD audio. The built-in Watchdog Timer keeps system running smoothly. The platform runs well with Windows 7 and 8 operating systems.
