By combining the power-efficient processing capabilities with bleeding edge 3D and 2D graphics, as well as high definition video, the i.MX 6 series provides a new level of multimedia performance to enable an unbounded next generation user experience. The unprecedented levels of performance and power efficiency make Portwell’s COMBO Series Panel PCs an ideal and cost-effective solution for applications which require high performance in low power or thermally constrained environment.

As well as being equipped with a projective capacitive touch screen and a resolution of 7-inch 800 x 480 or 10-inch 1280 x 800 industrial display in stylish 16:9 aspect ratio, the COMBO Series features an IP65 rated front panel, and is housed in a plastic bezel, making it slim, lightweight but still rugged for harsh environments.

COMBO Series features all required interfaces for industrial application: 1 x RS-232/422/485, 1 x HDMI, 2 x USB 2.0, 1 x USB OTG, 1 x Gigabit Ethernet and 1 x CAN 2.0B. Moreover, it equips 512MB to 2GB DDR3 memory down, 4GB to 8GB eMMC onboard and 1 x SD card slot. One SMA antenna interface can provide optional WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G/4G function via a full-size mini PCIe socket. Additionally, 1 x MIPI input, 4-bit DI/ 4-bit DO and one more RS-232 are optional functions for project use.

Only the best components go into the system and board design in Portwell’s COMBO Series Panel PCs. The aluminum extrusion back cover is good for thermal dissipation, allowing it to operate in extended temperature ranging from -20°C to 60°C and the fan-less design ensures silent operation, improved reliability and reduced maintenance costs. The cable-less structure also optimizes the thermal dissipation as well as ensures durability and reliability in harsh environments.

In addition, thanks to its robustness and easy operation, panel PC with projective capacitive touch solution becomes a popular solution in the factory automation industry. With the latest touch screen technology, COMBO Series features high touch durability, sensitivity and long-term sustainability thanks to the anti-scratch surface with 7H hardness protection. 10-points multi-touch supports a full set of gestures such as zooming in/out, panning, or rotating, giving users a whole new way to control and interact with what’s on the screen even with surgical gloves or thin cotton gloves.

Additionally, the Portwell COMBO Series Panel PCs supports 12~24V (±20%) wide range DC input for various operating environments and allow panel mounting and standard 50mm x 25mm as well as 75mm x 75mm VESA mounting. It supports different operating systems, such as Linux 3.10.53 with QT 5.2 and Android 5.0
