Holtek announces the release of its new Sub-1GHz RF OOK/FSK Transmitter Flash MCU, the BC66F2143. This new device, which can operate in the license-free ISM bands, has RF characteristics which are compliant with the ETSI/FCC specifications. The device is suitable for use in many products, such as wireless ceiling fans, wireless doorbells, RF switches, smart home applications, cold chain temperature detection and RF applications which require an LCD/LED display, etc.

The device has an operating voltage range of 2.2V~3.6V. With regard to memory, it contains 4K×16 of Flash Program Memory, 256×8 of RAM and 128×8 of EEPROM. The device also contains 22 I/Os, three groups of multi-function Timer Modules, a 12-channel 12-bit A/D converter, (SCOM/SSEG)×18/SSEG×4 software LCD function and SPI/I²C interfaces. The device includes fully integrated system oscillators of 16MHz and 32kHz. In addition, the device has a programmable RF transmission power of up to +13dBm. The device is supplied in a 32-pin QFN package type and meets with the industrial specification temperature of -40°C ~85°C.
The BC6xF21xx series of devices include a Flash Program Memory capacity of 1K~8K and a Data Memory capacity of 64B~256B. In addition, Holtek’s professional RF service teams are available to assist customers with their rapid production development.
