Worldwide LTE Subscribers to Exceed 170 Million in 1Q 2014 as Top 3 Operators Account for 52%

According to MIC Worldwide Mobile Subscriber database, worldwide LTE subscribers will reach the 170-million milestone in 1Q 2014. There are 225 operators in 98 countries with LTE networks up and running.

• Verizon’s LTE subscriber surpassed 42.7 million and AT&T’s reached 25.4 million in 4Q 2013.


Asia:


• 47 commercial LTE networks deployed in 23 countries.


• 66.1 million LTE subscribers with 39.6% of worldwide share. (February 2014)
