To Realize Dreams at 104 An9

TAIPEI, TAIWAN —According to 2014 GEDI Index of the Global Entrepreneurship and Development Institute that Taiwan ranks No. 7 among 120 countries worldwide, which means Taiwan is an ideal place to start a new business. 104 an9 is a website that gathered all the dreamers of starting their own businesses, especially micro-enterprises.

“Big Data, Wearable gadget, and App are three trends of micro-enterprise worldwide,” said Lydie Chen, Chief Operating Officer of 104 an9. She explained that there were 34 good projects at 104 an9 and 12 were nominated on Thursday to have the chance to go to silicon valley in the US.

However, there are two projects selected from the 12 nominees by the press: Muzie.tv and Carpo. Muzie.tv is a demonstration of Big Data, while Carpo is functioned with Location Base Servie (LBS).

Daniel Chang, Operator of Muzie.tv, which invented a Big Data music search engine that breaks through the language barriers to allow users to enjoy music from the huge database of the world. “Thanks to Data Mining, users can not only enjoy the music, but also can perform at Muzie.tv because we have a online perform platform.”

Carpo is a website and App, which users can share their ride either for free or with price. “We are now working on a advanced version of Carpo by adding the LBS that users can share their ride timely,” said Lin Po-fu, Member of Carpo.

Howevere, with the view that more and more smart devices and social networks, the communication between people becomes much easier. There’s an App entitled with MySNG, which allows users to share timely live videos via LEADERG cloud platform that can be applied to help stray animals get more chances to be adopted.
