Passing the wirelesws charging certification means sooner or later it will be put into mass production. Taiwanese firm ENE Technology Inc. has become a memeber of Wireless Power Consortium (WPC), and been active in developing wireless charging products.

It is said that wireless charging will be a standard accessory of smartphone and tablet. However, NXP, TI, and IDT released the latest wireless charging IC.

The world leading TI unveiled bq51221, the most effective and tiniest wireless charging receiver, also support the standard of WPC 1.1 Qi and PMA that saves power consumption up to 50 percent.
