Taiwan OLED Lighting Alliance will be established in the Q3 2014

The goal of EORL is to connect Taiwan's up、middle and downstream manufacturers , and also joint materials and equipment company in Taiwan and Japan in the future , to assist Taiwan's OLED lighting industry and brands into international market.

There are five committees of the EORL, one of which is the lighting committee, chaired by Lin Qing-Yuan, the chairman of the Taiwan Association of Lighting;another is the lighting design committee, chaired by Yuan Zong-Na, director of Yuan Zong-Na lighting firm;the other three committees were as materials, equipment, and light manufacturer.

CT Liu said that if Taiwan industry want to shine in the LED industry continunously, should merge small lighting design company, combine systems or building materials into the LED products, shift the concept of " yield " to " design ".

CT Liu stressed that to help Taiwanese companies can catch up with the next generation of solid-state lighting technology-OLED lighting, ITRI will concatenate up、middle and downstream manufacturers of the Taiwanese industry to establish OLCA in the third quarter of this year for develop OLED lighting technologies.
