CSA Expands The Scale of Testing Lab in Taiwan

Ash Sahi said that a lot of the world's Top 500 IT companies established R&D center in Taiwan, with the local electrical and electronics industry flourished, CSA testing and certification business will grow also, and this new laboratory can effectively assist manufacturers in Taiwan to save time and costs in obtaining certification, provide localized testing and certification services .

CSA’s Taiwan testing laboratory first founded in 2012 in Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City, was one of the early laboratories of CSA Group in Asia, provided North America and worldwide professional testing and certification services to Taiwan companies.

The new laboratory will provide IEC / CSA / UL 60950-1, IEC / CSA / UL 60065 and many other global standard certification services, including the video device, EEV / Energy Star, machine tools, power transformers, IT technology and household equipment and other categories product.

Claudia Chan, vice president of North Asia and South East Asia of CSA, said that Taiwan electrical and electronic products export value amounted to US$ 140.6 billion in 2012, play an important role in global manufacturing. With the expansion of this laboratory, CSA will be able to provide efficient testing services to Taiwan IT / AV and power tools companies.
