Industrial Economics and Knowledge (IEK) pointed out that the machinery, telecommunication, semiconductor, green energy and biotech & medical will be the booming industries continuously in 2015.

The telecommunication industry will experience more growth momentum in year 2015, derived from the strong demand for networking equipment by Taiwan’s ICT equipment manufacturers and the large sales of samrtphone industries. The output in 2015 from Taiwan's telecommunication equipment industry is expected to reach NT $ 1 trillion 69.2 billion.

As for semiconductor industry, following by handheld devices industry, IoT, considering its business opportunity will begin to come up in the 3-5years, are thought to be next fast-growing business by most semiconductor industries, said IEK.

IEK estimates that in 2015 the output of Taiwan’s IC industry will strengthen slightly and reach NT $2333billion, rising by 6.1% compared to 2014.

Facing the challenges of smog pollution in China, the issues of energy-saving and environmental protection are elevating and prompt the development of the relevant business opportunities. IEK said that the China’s new policy including pollution prevention, industrial clean production, eliminating backward production capacity and adjusting the proportion of energy-consumption, have caused a huge wave for industry and market.
