Taiwan and India Signs MOU of Three Industries

AIPEI, Taiwan - Industry Associations from Taiwan and India, involved electronics, textiles and shipbuilding, signed a cooperation MOU yesterday in New Delhi, to increase in commercial interaction between the two sides. The scope of cooperation between Taiwan and India in the future will expand to other areas.

Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (TEEMA), Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) and Taiwan Shipbuilding Industry Association yesterday at Hotel ITC Maurya New Delhi, India, signed a memorandum of industrial cooperation (MOU) with the Electric Lamp and Component Manufacturers Association of India (Elcoma), the Shipyards Association of India(SAI) and the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI).

These three Taiwanese industry Associations have already signed another three MOU with the Gujarat Electronics Industries Association(GESIA), the Gujnon Manucaturer Assocation Of Nonwovens, and Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB), at Gandhinagar January 11.

Zhuo Shizhao, The Chief Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs, the leadership of the delegation, said that the future of Taiwan and India cooperation is not limited to this three industries, is going to expand renewable energy, automotive electronics, medical equipment.
