TSMC to Share NT$35.3 Billion Profits to Employees

TAIPEI, Taiwan － TSMC's revenue in January recorded at historical high of NT$ 87.12 billion. In addition, TSMC announced yesterday that would share NT$ 35.3 billion profit to its employees, as the dividend, the average dividend is about NT$0.82 million each person.

Analysts said that the sturdy revenue of TSMC in January was boosted by manufacturing Apple A8 CPU. Because of the hot sale of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, benefited the TSMC’s 20 nm profits continue to increase; meanwhile the 28 nm process was also at full capacity due to many of new mobile phone chips.
TSMC announced yesterday that will share its profits of NT$35.3 billion to employees. For now TSMC have nearly 43,000 employees, the dividend each person is about NT$0.82 million.
In the past three years, the annual dividend of TSMC was increased from NT$17.9 billion to NT$35.3 billion.
