Alibaba Jack Ma Visits Hon Hai Bio-Engineering Center

TAIPEI, Taiwan - Jack Ma, Alibaba Group founder, came to Taiwan to lecture on Tuesday, Hon Hai chairman Terry Gou participated in the whole event and accompanied Ma to visit YongLin Biomedical Engineering Center, an advanced medical research institutions founded by Hon Hai.

After visiting YongLin Biomedical Engineering Center, Ma showed a high interest about the biomedical technology and PM2.5 (fine suspended particles), which are big issue for health care and cancer treatment of people in the mainland China.

When Ma be asked about the cooperation with Hon Hai by Taiwanese media, said that there are more cooperation projects to be exposed in the future.

The relations between Gou and Ma has been good, both sides have to cooperate on a number of businesses. By the end of November last year, Foxconn worked with Alibaba and Beijing Century Internet to establish a Wi-Fi application of Guizhou city, China, it was the first large-scale cooperation of Hon Hai with Alibaba.

In the March 2, Hon Hai and China Hangzhou Municipal Government signed the cooperation agreement, to transform the Yunqi Town into a high-tech base of software and hardware integration, and participate in cross-border e-commerce development with Alibaba. And Gou and Ma had met, next day, they met in Taiwan again.
