HTC did not specify the exact shipping time of M9, stressed that there is no supply problem, mainly due to the software upgrade, and it will available in the short time in Taiwan.

Two years ago, HTC had be delayed by the shortage of components supply on shipping M7, and led to miss the perfect timing of marketing. But HTC learned from it, has no any supply chain problems in this two years.

HTC said yesterday that they appreciate the support from consumer for the M9. For providing consumers with the best experience, HTC will upgrade the latest software version of M9, and start to ship it as soon as possible.

HTC had underlined that the coating process of the two-colors metal case of M9 is much complicated than M8 at Mobile World Congress (MWC). HTC CEO Peter Chou said that HTC had tried to produce two-colors metal case for the M8, but not success at that time. Then they spend a year to work with the suppliers to implement it, and reached to mass production just three months earlier than the announcement date, and they decided to release it.
