MacBook Helps Quanta Goes Bullish

TAIPEI, Taiwan — Guo Ming-qi, Analyst of KGI Securities Co., pointed out that thanks to Apple’s MacBook series sold like hot cakes, he predicted that the second quarter of this year's sales will increase over last second quarter by 22 percent, the shipment is at best 5.5 million units that is better than the average in the industry. Hence, the major OEM firm Quanta goes bullish.

Quanta is the solely OEM parter of Apple’s PC and notebook, the latest MacBook series made a new wave of replacement in the world. In March, Quanta shipped out 4 million notebooks, which increased by 1.3 million units compared with that of in 2014. In April and May, there are more and more new notebooks hit the market, the shipment goes bullish.

Guo Ming-qi supported his point of view by giving statistics, referring to as iPhone and iPad go bearish at the second quarter, only the MacBook series increase over last second quarter by 22 percent, which means shipped out 5.5 million units.

It is widely circulated that Quanta will benefit from the steady shipment of notebook, server, and even wearables.
