WiseChip Semiconductor Focuses on PMOLED Applications

TAIPEI, Taiwan — WiseChip Semiconductor Inc. will be listed in the Taiwan Over-The-Counter(OTC) market on May, the company’s General Manager Chen Jian-xun said that their new applications in PMOLED will focus on flexible, transmissive and OLED, and wearables is going to be its driving force in the third and fourth quarters.
Relatively, samples of new applications in PMOLED have been sent to customer such as Fitbit, Cisco and Sagecom.
Allegedly, the company noted it aims to make 5mm thick flexible displays by 2017 compared to 40mm in 2015 and is also developing OLED lighting technology aimed to reach 6,000 units in 2017.
According to WiseChip Semiconductor, the company is a professional manufacturer of OLED and EOL Products, and its main products include OLED Display, Full Color Display, Monochrome Displays, Full Color OLED, Matrix OLED.
